Throughout my career as a product leader, I have often found myself in rooms where I was the only Black woman, or the only person of color, present.

When the teams building these products lack diverse perspectives, the future they design is inevitably limited.

Innovative leadership is about more than presenting the newest idea or pushing for constant change; it is about recognizing what already works and expanding it with intention to bring deeper clarity, value and meaning to the people you serve. It is rooted in curiosity, exploration, and the belief that learning is a continuous process. 

Each day brings new opportunities to impact someone else’s life story. This possibility invigorates a spark every morning and motivates me

Fearless leadership isn’t about being the loudest in the room; it’s about choosing to lead with integrity, even when it’s hard. From making space for others to speaking up when it counts.

Leadership doesn’t happen all at once. It’s not a one-time decision or a title you earn and never question.

In product leadership, the most impactful leaders are not always the ones who speak the loudest or move the fastest.

Each morning, I give myself a moment to pause. I ask, What will I use this gift of a day for? It helps reset my mindset and reconnect me to purpose. That small practice has become my reminder to lead with intention.
